In October 2023, the "Calibration Specification for Industrial X-ray CT Devices" (JJF 2043-2023), mainly drafted by Liaoning Institute of Metrology, Dandong Aolong Radiation Instrument Group Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Institute of Metrology, was released and implemented.The standard was mainly drafted by Cheng Qi, Deputy General Manager of Aolong Group, and five others.
This specification applies to the initial, during use, and after maintenance calibration of conventional industrial X-ray CT devices (referred to as industrial CT devices) using ray tubes as radiation sources. Industrial X-ray CT device is the abbreviation of industrial computer tomography technology. It can clearly, accurately, and intuitively display the internal structure, composition, material, and defect status of the tested object in the form of two-dimensional or three-dimensional images without damage to the tested object. It is known as the best non-destructive testing and evaluation technology today.
